“Having passed our 60th wedding anniversary, we had accumulated a whole lot of stuff over time. Some treasure, some not. Our new space was about 40% of the size of the home we were leaving. New Thresholds tirelessly, kindly and thoughtfully led us through the process of deciding what goes with us, what goes to our 2 children, what goes to Goodwill, etc.
For anyone who has gone through this head hurting, heart wrenching process, they will know it the most painful task….unless you have Ellen, Katherine and the New Thresholds team onboard. They helped us evaluate, sort, and dispose of everything in our home….Wisely, they suggested that on the day we moved, my wife and I disappear for 24 hours. During this period we stayed in a lovely hotel, had a glorious meal followed by peaceful sleep. At 5pm the next day, Ellen beckoned us to join her team at our new home. The place was immaculate.
